Excerpt from Waging War with Hell: Mohammed and The Nature of Islam

Mohammed and the Nature of Islam

In his book ‘The True Believer’, Eric Hoffer discusses the place of a fanatical leader in a mass movement. Such a leader is crucial in the active phase of a movement. It is around this type of person that energy coalesces and action is taken. A movement cannot transition to stability and maturity until practical leaders replace the charismatic fanatic.

Fundamentalist Islam glories in the life of Mohammed their original fanatical leader. There is no model for a practical transitional leader who consolidates gains. So there is a constant replacing of those who wish to transition away from the fanaticism, unreasonableness and self-destructive sacrifice of the active phase of the Islamic movement.

Whenever reason and transition is attempted the fundamentalists replace or behead that movement. This is documented in the experience of the Jews of Jerusalem in the 1956 war.

“Our main problem is the difficulty of coming to terms with the Arabs, not because neither of us want peace, but because the Arab who starts meaningful negotiations with us is attacked for it by all the other Arabs. The crucial fact is that a feudal situation exists among the Arabs. They don’t think in terms of countries; they don’t even think in terms of nations. They still think in terms of the large family groups to whom they owe allegiance.
This being the case, with whom is one to negotiate? With whom is one to come to a meaningful agreement? The man with whom you deal today is gone tomorrow. If the Arabs can’t come to agreement among themselves, how can we come to agreement with them?”

Benefit to Humanity?

Islam will never become a beneficial world system because it refuses to take the gains it has made and use them for the benefit of humanity.

It is not the improvement of humanity but submission to Islam that is their goal.

It is Islamization of the entire world that is the only goal. The people in the world are not important factors in that aim. They are only the means to that end.  If war, deception and assassination are deemed necessary to achieve submission then so be it. The good of people is not considered, only the ‘good’ of the movement.

This is the reason it is so difficult for Christians and westerners, influenced by Christian values, to comprehend Islam. The benefit of people is at the heart of Yaweh’s dealings with humanity.

Islamization of the World

Allah has no stated desire to benefit humanity only the requirement that it submit to Allah. Therefore Islam has no motive to benefit humanity by consolidating gains for the benefit of persons. All resources are directed towards the goal of Islamizing the world.

World conquest through the enforced submission of nations to Islam, without reference to the hearts of individuals in those nations, is the goal of the Muslim jihad, nothing else. This cannot be reasoned with. It can only be opposed.

Islam appeals to those who desire change for its own sake, without the desire to build peace or a better world. Islam promises personal gain in the form of booty taken from those conquered, sexual ‘favours’ for eternity in ‘heaven’ for the men who go to war for the cause and exemption from the laws against theft, murder and rape against ‘unbelievers’ . This is the appeal offered to those who run to the call of Islam. Suicide bombers, in particular, focus on these aspects of the Qur’an.

The takeover of lands and properties of unbelievers, raiding caravans and the ransom of kidnapped people or selling them as slaves was the economic foundation of Islam. Once expansion stopped, Islam declined.

In a book review of Islamic Imperialism: A History by Efraim Karsh, Carlin Romano of the Philadelphia Inquirer stated; ‘Islam is a seventh century Arabic movement that forced itself on neighbouring lands such as today’s Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Egypt for secular colonialist payoffs – money, booty, territory.”

About the author: Philip Marzec

Pastor Philip G. Marzec has been an ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ since 1983. He has been researching and writing on the topic of Salvation in Hell since 1992. Jesus is the only saviour the world needs. He is able to offer that choice of salvation to every soul ever born otherwise He would be insufficient for the task of saving the world. He will see to it that every soul gets a chance to know Him and accept or reject His offer to make them a part of YHWH's eternal family.

This is only an excerpt. It is not the focus of the whole book and it does not present the entire argument offered in chapter 10.
